“In June 2004, I set foot in Morocco for the first time. A colleague from the architecture firm in Barcelona where I was working suggested me to join “Arquitectes Sense Fronteres” as an AutoCAD teacher.
Arriving at Tangier’s port after a night train from Barcelona, I found a taxi waiting to take me to Asilah and back to Tangier that same night
“I’m home!” I thought.
Four years later, I was on a plane with my suitcases, moving to Casablanca—”the monster” according to some Moroccan friends, or “a big city to discover” according to my love for the Maghreb and for challenges.”
From there, Silvia established her interior architecture firm in Casablanca, shaping residential and commercial spaces worldwide.
In 2017, she founded the MORETTINA® furnishing brand to provide a comprehensive service of commercial design solutions. Blending Italian heritage with Moroccan influences, she crafts bespoke designs for hotels, boutiques, and residences, inviting professionals to collaborate.
